Tri-Star Taps was born much like that of a good old country song… An old truck, love of beer, in Tennessee…

Owners Tate (yes, first name Franklin) Ammons and wife Andrea combine their 20 years experience in production, hospitality and spirits consulting to put the drive behind Tri-Star Taps.

Tate is a native Franklin boy who made his way out west to put his name on the silver screen, acting in various commercials and most notably in the western series, Justified. Tate also wrote, directed and starred in his own feature film, currently in post production.

Andrea is Canadian born and after retiring from the Women’s Canadian bobsled team, made her way south to practice in her field of athletic therapy. She also had her luck in the film industry where some of her clients include Julia Roberts, Courteney Cox, Brad Pitt, Leslie Mann, Pink, and Gigi Hadid.

And just like the end of all happy country songs, they got married, had some kids, threw in a dog, and returned to their roots to live happily ever after.

Our truck, Hollis, is an original 1940 Chevy truck with 150 year old barn wood panels sourced from a farm in middle Tennessee.

Despite her vintage looks, she is outfitted with a restaurant grade tap system that can keep beverages cold or hot for up to 8 hours without electricity, if longer is needed then electrical hookup will be necessary. Hollis can pour beer, cocktails, nitro cold brew, hot coffee, signature toasted marshmallow cocoa, and anything folks want to make their event memorable!
